Website & email updates privacy notice

This notice covers the website and product-update signup. It does not describe data practices of the Kara device or online AI services.

Signup and confirmation

You provide an email address, optional country or region and interest, and consent to product updates. We store the consent version, request time, confirmation status and source tags from the link you used. We send a confirmation email before adding you to the confirmed updates list. Signup is not an order.

Use and email service

The list is used for requested Kara demos, development, pricing and launch news, and to summarize signup results by source. The prepared integration uses Resend for confirmation emails and requires a configured, verified sending domain before activation. Sending requires sharing the recipient address and email content with the mail service, which may process data outside China. The form does not accept registrations while the service is unconfigured. We do not sell this list.

Withdrawal and retention

Use the link in the confirmation email to withdraw or unsubscribe. Withdrawal removes the email, country, interest and source fields from the local record; a hashed identifier, consent record and withdrawal status remain to prevent further sending. Unconfirmed expired and failed requests should be cleared within 30 days. Contact us to request correction or deletion; server backups must follow the same retention approach.

Local preferences, videos and server logs

The language preference is stored locally in your browser. Videos are served by this site. This revision includes no ad pixel or third-party tracking script. Signup stores source tags from the link, not a full browsing history. The server may log IP addresses, request times and paths; hashed rate-limit identifiers remain temporarily in memory. Confirmation and withdrawal tokens use URL fragments and are submitted by POST to avoid ordinary URL access logs.
